Arrive in Dakar at 5:40 am. Transfer to your 4-star hotel. After breakfast, you can rest before the city tour. Visit historical and cultural sites including grounds of the Palace, home of the president. Radisson Blu Hotel.

Nov. 6, Sun. DAKAR TO PINK LAKE

This excursion takes you to the mysterious rose-colored body of water, the Pink Lake. Experience floating in the lake while reading the newspaper. Enjoy a breathtaking adventurous ride to the Atlantic Ocean over the sand dunes in a 4×4. Visit the Fulani village and experience the everyday life of the people. Savor a typical Senegalese lunch with entertainment.

Nov. 7, Mon. DAKAR TO GOREE ISLAND

After breakfast, travel by ferry to Goree Island, which was once a departure point for millions of Africans bound for the Americas. Visit the house where they were jailed until departure. Have lunch by the sea on the island. After lunch take the ferry back to Dakar and visit the sand painting gallery.

Have a leisurely day to do last minute shopping before leaving tomorrow for St. Louis. At night you will be the guest of our tour guide, Mara and his family for dinner.

Optional tour of the Bandia Game Reserve. Drive through the reserve and marvel at the animals up Close. You will see Rhinoceros, giraffe, crocodiles and buffalo; just to name a few.

Enjoy a leisurely day or take an optional tour to Joal Fadiouth, the birthplace of President Senghor. Tour of a village to learn drumming and dancing​.

Enjoy a leisurely day. In the evening, a Naming Ceremony and dinner is a great way to end a good trip. You will get your African name that best describes the beautiful you. After dinner leave for the airport for your flight home.

VISAS: Senegal does not require visas for U.S. Passports. A visa for Mauritania is required for U.S. passports and we will assist you with obtaining it. Your American passport has to be valid at least until MAY 4, 2017.

MEDICAL: At this time only Yellow Fever innoculation is required for Senegal. Malaria Pills are highly reccommended; but please consult with your doctor for the proper type of medication for you.

SECURITY: Homeland Security requires us to send them pertinent information (that is in your passport) before you travel. This is highly imporatnt; Therefore, we request a color copy of your passport picture page.

Business Class on South African Airways is available. Let us know if you are interested.
